As I was stumbling my way through the web last night I ended up following a link to the website TogetherWeServed.com; the premise is simple: keep in touch with, and “virtually” meet other Coasties. I remember visiting this site once before but was saddened to see that we, the Coast Guard, were yet again ill [...] Since we moved CGBlog’s home to a new server a few months back we’ve been a little behind in getting the link list back to where it needed to be. Well, I’d like to reintroduced the large, and still growing, CGBlog Link List (also available via the link above). As of now we have a [...] I guess it was only a matter of time before it came about. Our Commandant has one, FORCECOM has one, the ESO’s have one, and now VADM Papp (LANTAREA) has one; I’m of course talking about a blog here folks. Though fairly new, and seemingly unannounced, I happened upon it doing some research for an [...] Beaten at our own game it seems… The DHS has put together an awesome list of official Coast Guard (and other DHS) sites, Twitter accounts, Facebook accounts, Flickr and YouTube. It’s a little hard to navigate at first, but once you get the gist you’ll have found a treasure-trove of links.
