The Coast Guard Image: Standby for Heavy Rolls

Coast_Guard_Cutter_Rush1This was one of those unintentional finds, but a good one none the less. This image of the CGC RUSH was found on the website mapz: a gis librarian. Not really a CG website, but interesting anyhow.

    Looks like the birds coming on line. I despised that view in the Gulf of Alaska on the 210', watching a WHEC fire the birds and zip away from us with a big rooster tail on their way back to Alameda as we chugged back to Astoria at 13kts.
